For this latest single, Lil Berete worked with Toronto producer AR. ‘Goat Cheese‘ reflects on Berete’s newfound local fame, which has also attracted the attention of local authorities explains Berete: “Police are trying to pull me over but I know what my rights are.” The video, which is a dream sequence set in Spain, highlights Berete’s playfulness but also highlights some of the more serious issues he’s up against.
