Subsequent to LA-based indie-pop project HUNNY recently sharing their first new music since their 2023 album New Planet Heaven and its subsequent live record out in 2024, they have now shared new single ‘catalina’.
“catalina is a silly little song about taking a silly little trip. i think it’s crazy i’ve lived so close to this place for all these years of my life and have never been. maybe i wrote this song as an excuse to go and have the label pay for it for a music video? the ferry made me nauseous and i didn’t see any buffalo but i still consider the whole thing a success. come for the beach boys reference and stay for the guitar solo.” – Jason Yager
