Out now digitally, It’s Beautiful is a new EP featuring fully reimagined takes of three songs from Water From Your EyesIt’s a Beautiful Place. Here guitarist and producer Nate Amos tweaks, twists, and warps the arrangements for ‘Born 2,’ ‘Nights in Armor,’ and ‘Playing Classics,’ dramatically shifting the scenery around and emotional resonance of singer Rachel Brown’s vocal leads.

Water From Your Eyes – ‘Driving Classics, Playing Cars’

“The new versions of ‘Born 2’ and ‘Nights in Armor’ are actually just closer to how the songs existed in their original form,” says Amos. “People were asking me about the original 10+ minute version of playing classics and I can’t find it anymore, so I made a new one. Thought it would be funny if it was faster, too. I added car sound effects because cars are fast.”

Water From Your Eyes are currently at the tail end of a global headline run, having sold out dates across North America, UK, and Europe. There’s much more to come: Next year, the band will support Hayley Williams across her sold-out 2026 tour, make their Australian debut, and return to Primavera Sound. Earlier this month, Water From Your Eyes were featured performing Life Signs’ on Colbert’s #LateShowMeMusic series. The clip – shot at Gary’s Electric studio in Brooklyn – captures the live band in peak form, fresh off the first leg of their US tour. Watch it below

Released in August, It’s a Beautiful Place is Water From Your Eyes’ glittering and gonzo magnum opus. The album has since met with an outpouring of praise and good will, including rave reviews at Pitchfork (8.3 Best New Music), Stereogum (Album of the Week), Bandcamp (Album of the Day), Paste (8.7), and more. The Brooklyn-based duo – Nate Amos and Rachel Brown – were also interviewed in Rolling Stone, FADER, Nylon, the Needle Drop, Blackbird Spyplane, and Flaunt.

Praise for It’s a Beautiful Place

“sprawling, amorphous, hermetic, overwhelming, heartbreaking, funny as hell.” – Pitchfork (8.3 – Best New Music)

“It’s A Beautiful Place is both exactly what you might’ve imagined from a new Water From Your Eyes album and also not anything you could’ve predicted. It’s the exhilaration of watching a band get better and better, delivering on heightened expectations by every metric.” Stereogum ‘Album of the Week’

“Their most joyously out-there achievement yet — a mind-blowing concept album about time, space travel, and the nature of reality.” – Rolling Stone

“the Brooklyn indie scene’s talk of the town..The near-uncategorizable duo have become one of those bands that everyone who knows says you should know”   NYLON

“Shrewdly counterbalances its gonzo gestures with more unfettered displays of Water From Your Eyes’s songwriting savvy” – Bandcamp

“the most optimistic Water From Your Eyes project yet, a representation of the band’s omnivorous spirit”  – The Guardian

“Water From Your Eyes revels in musical jump cuts and not-quite-sequiturs.. By the end of the song, somehow it all makes sense”  New York Times on “Life Signs”

“quite possibly 2025’s greatest album yet..the album it always felt like this band could make” – Loud & Quiet

“continues the duo’s stellar run of experimental rock” – The Needle Drop

“It’s brilliant, and sure to send them further into the indie rock cosmos that they’ve been orbiting for the last few years” – NME

“an album that makes disenchantment feel as grandiose and overwhelming as falling out of love” – Paste Magazine (8.7)
