New York-based producer, vocalist, DJ and composer DOSS and London-based musician, composer and producer Danny L Harle today release Crystallise Divergence, a project made by DOSS using stems of Harle’s ‘Crystallise My Tears’ from this year’s Cerulean album as the source material for each track.
DOSS is a New York based producer, vocalist, DJ, and composer whose music blends euphoric dance music with pop, ambient, and shoegaze influences. Since her acclaimed self-titled debut in 2014 and 2021’s 4 New Hit Songs, she has built a singular body of work spanning adventurous electronic music, emotionally resonant songwriting, and inventive production. Alongside her own releases, DOSS has become a sought-after remixer, with credits including Lady Gaga, Caroline Polachek, A. G. Cook, Eartheater, and f5ve, and has toured with SOPHIE, Caroline Polachek, Yves Tumor, and Ninajirachi, performing at clubs and festivals around the world.
Here, she takes Harle’s densely-arranged original apart, running its component parts through her own distinct, gleaming production to build something that feels distinctly her own while still tethered to the emotional core of the source material.
The concept of an extended “Divergence” release occurred to Harle while reviewing the stems from his Cerulean sessions, realising how much of the material could branch off into unexpected directions. He began inviting other artists to harvest these stems and shape them into their own unique works. Crystallise Divergence marks the third instalment in the series, following August 2025’s Starlight Divergence, in which Dutch producer Torus reworked ‘Starlight’ (feat. PinkPantheress), and December 2025’s Azimuth Divergence, in which Brooklyn-based Rachika Nayar dismantled ‘Azimuth’ (feat. Caroline Polachek).
‘Crystallise My Tears’ appears on Cerulean, Harle’s acclaimed debut album, released in February 2026 via XL Recordings. Featuring vocals from Oklou and MNEK, the track paired Harle’s speaker-blowing bass and euphoric trance synths with two of his most soaring vocal turns, and stood as one of the album’s most compelling moments.
