ALDOUS HARDING shares new song ‘Coats’ ahead of album

Ahead of new album, Train On The Island, launching this Friday, Aldous Harding releases a third and final single . Album closer ‘Coats’ serves as another preview of the New Zealander’s fifth studio record, following early singles ‘Venus In The Zinnea’ and ‘One Stop’. In addition, the “indie Moriarty and master of disguise,” (MOJO) adds southern hemisphere dates to her growing headline tour.

The 10-track Train On The Island was co-produced by long-time collaborator John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales, where the pair recorded the New Zealander’s previous bodies of work, Party (2017), Designer (2019) and Warm Chris (2022). Joining Harding and Parish on Train On The Island were pedal steel player Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpist Mali Llywelyn, synth artist Thomas Poli, drummer Sebastian Rochford (Polar Bear) and Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) on bass, vocals, acoustic/electric guitar and organ.

To celebrate Train On The Island, Harding’s first headline shows since 2023 will kick off during album release week. She announces dates in Australia and her native New Zealand, adding to UK, European and US tour dates is below. For more ticket information head to https://aldousharding.ffm.to/tour
