ANOHNI has shared a new video – watch “Crisis” here: from the critically acclaimed 2016 album, HOPELESSNESS. It’s an intimate focus on performer, Storm Lever mouthing the words. To draw focus to the heart of the song, ANOHNI said that the video was to show how it would feel if an American citizen acknowledged the killings that the U.S. military has undertaken in the Middle East. She says: “There is an unspoken sense that the atrocities our country has committed in the Middle East are too grave to really acknowledge or account for. And yet for peace to really take hold, there is no other road forward.”
