Today Arca reemerges to share the latest offering from the KICK series, an ancillary track and new music video for “Cayo,” a song generated from the period in which she recorded the KICK series, that originally premiered on her DIVA_EXPERIMENTAL FM Twitch transmission in early 2020. “Cayo” features additional production from Tim Hecker and arrives with a music video directed by Albert Moya, starring Arca. Arca elaborates on her latest offering: it’s about exploring self states, non-binary modes of relating of that which is ‘other’, creating new intersectional ways of mediating identity through exploring sensuality and heightened communion with the sensual embodiment of self.
