CASISDEAD returns with his new single ‘Traction Control’. It’s the third single to be revealed from the rap icon’s highly anticipated debut album – a record CASISDEAD is currently masterminding in the DEADCORP® headquarters – and the latest chapter in his transition from cult, underground hero to future global star.
Co-produced with experimental Canadian artist d’Eon, ‘Traction Control’ is set to follow the success of CASISDEAD’s ambitious, world-building previous singles ‘Park Assist’, a collaboration with La Roux, and ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ which was accompanied by a cinematic Ed Skrein – directed video starring the likes of Emma Rigby, Connie Constance, Jo Hartley and Lewis Reeves.
‘Traction Control’ is the latest statement from an artist who has always hidden his true identity while being hailed as “The Greatest Rapper in Britain Right Now” (Vice) and lauded by the likes of Skepta, Giggs, Dizzee Rascal and A$AP Rocky, who cites him as “my favourite of all of them, my favourite UK rapper”.
