Cyber duo, Two Shell, initiate ‘22 with the release of home EP – a single that secretly lit up the festival main-stages > forums + underground clubs @ the end of last year.
A-side ‘home’ is a fast-paced t-pop track that stands at the front of a new sound taking shape in ‘22. Heard in sets across the world this is groove, soul and satisfaction for the cyber generation. On the kickflip the pair offer a further entry point to their world with ‘no reply’; a glistening gen-z firestone straight out of the mainframe.
‘home’ has had live support from big dog techno influencers Four Tet, Avalon Emerson and Ben UFO who featured the single in his BBC Essential Mix, as well as inviting the duo to play on his Hessle Audio Rinse FM show earlier this month, wax sealing their place in the UK’s underground.
Previously only available as a 12” white-label, which sold out in nanoseconds, home and no reply get the full digital dispatch alongside a limited white label re-press.
