On October 3rd, Brazilian rapper Emicida and Franco-Cuban duo Ibeyi will meet at Rock in Rio Festival for an exclusive performance together on Sunset stage. Before the show, the artists came to Red Bull Music Studios, in São Paulo, for a rehearsal and took the opportunity to record an acoustic version of “Hacía El Amor”, with a new arrangement with horns and double bass of that single released in 2018. The music video of the new version and the making of the production can exclusively be seen on www.redbull.com.br

“We share a mutual culture and ancestry with Brazil. And we feel it when we play here,” says Lisa-Kaindé about the meeting with Emicida. “Hacía El Amor” is the first song in Spanish recorded by the Brazilian rapper. The acoustic version of the track was produced by Márcio Arantes.

On Sunset stage, the show will have a mix of songs by Emicida, Ibeyi and some singles they made together in past years. “We want to go very deep, we want people to scream at our songs. Basically, what I keep saying to the audience is: go to your favourite music app and learn the main songs, because we want you to sing out as loud as you can. We will need that energy,” say Lisa-Kaindé and her twin sister Naomi Diaz.
