They have captured the adulation and adoration of the press and public alike with singles such as “Bamboo”, “Chili Town” and “Garden”, and promise to win over even more when they unleash their debut LP, Leave Me Alone next year.

Now, they release another infectious shot of musical serotonin with their new single San Diego, a gorgeous slice of two and a half minute pop which shows the four piece’s ridiculously effortless way with an addictive hook and harmonized vocal. It’s equal parts Ty Segall and Black Lips, Phil Spector and The Shirelles, but, in the final analysis, utterly and wholly Hinds.

Listen to “San Diego” here

“We all have bad days. We mean bad nights. One day a friend told us “I don’t wanna fall asleep because I know what’s the dream about”. This song is about staying awake. Just staying awake”.

The now bright surf-pop tune San Diego” single and forthcoming Leave Me Alone album are guaranteed to bring the Mediterranean sun to you wherever you are in the world at any time of the year.

Leave Me Alone is out 8th January 2016 on Pod/Inertia via Rhythmethod
