The artists’ second collaboration out now via XL Recordings

Single release celebrates the start of Overmono’s headline UK/EU and US tour

Two of the UK’s most highly respected forces in electronic music, Joy Orbison and Overmono, come together once again to release brand-new single “Blind Date”. Out today, Friday 23 September, via XL Recordings, you can listen to “Blind Date” here.

Their debut collaboration “Bromley” was released to huge acclaim in 2019 (“it’s precisely their ability to conjure a roomful of wonder that makes [Bromley] the tentpole tune the season needed” – Pitchfork) and is one of the most celebrated dance tracks in recent times. “Blind Date” – Joy Orbison and Overmono’s second joint release – is the next evolution in their sound. Built around a hypnotic ABRA vocal hook, it’s set to be one of the year’s undisputed anthems, with both artists previewing it to rapturous responses at festival appearances this year, at the likes of Glastonbury, Movement Festival, All Points East, We Out Here Festival, and Dekmantel.
