Kenny Beats’ critically acclaimed debut album LOUIE unites an all-star cast of collaborators to offer a new kind of producer album, laced with seraphic falsettos of 70s funk singers, looped samples and hypnotic drum patterns. ‘Still’ is the second of Kenny’s post-release extended single edits, and one of the most noteworthy; it’s the “mid-album standout” where NYC rapper JPEGMAFIA “shouts energetic catchphrases over a simple drum line and tender backing vocals from Omar Apollo” (Pitchfork).
