We hope you all enjoyed your long weekend rest.
We kicked back and savoured the best of our fresh, new releases from the last two weeks including: Jamie xx’s highly anticipated new release In Colour, Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Multi-Love, and SOAK’s full-length debut, Before We Forgot How to Dream.

Jamie xx – In Colour landed in stores, nation-wide on Friday. The album is one of Pitchfork’s Best New Albums – READ the full-length Pitchfork review here.

If you aren’t very familiar with the man everyone’s been talking about, a good place to start would be checking out Pitchfork’s compelling feature article which surfaced online earlier this month. This Friday, Sharon Van Etten releases her much-awaited for EP I Don’t Want To Let You Down via Jagjaguwar. The five-track EP is currently up on NPR’s All Tracks Considered, revealing an in-depth and personal track by track guide by Van Etten. It is a must read for all die-hard fans out there. Multi Love

Friday, May 22nd marked the official release date for Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s highly anticipated fifth album Multi-Love. Since then, it has blown up our interweb circles locally and abroad, featuring a week prior to release on NPR’s First Listen and CBC’s First Listen. Beirut announced today, a brand new album called No No No, due out September 11th on 4AD. Listen to the brand new self-titled track right here.


Currently on tour visiting her loyal fanbases in far away places, Princess Chelsea on Wednesday shared the brand new video for ‘Too Many People’, which has seen a great bunch of support from local radio stations around the country, peaking at #1 on both Radioactive and Radio One‘s Top 11 charts, and reaching #2 on the bFM Top 10. Father John Misty

Father John Misty performed two Honeybear tracks, live on Seth Meyer’s show recently. Watch the electrifying performance here via Pitchfork, and also see him perform ‘I Love You, Honeybear’ for Pitchfork tv.


RATATAT_Magnifique SML
RATATAT have announced details and a release date (July 17) for a fifth studio album, Magnifiqueon XL Recordings. The 14-track album includes the recently released single “Cream on Chrome“, which the duo unveiled in their closing, headline set at this year’s Coachella. Have a sneaky peak at the teaser video “Intro”, released this week right here.
