TAKEN FROM HER DEBUT ‘UNDERSTUDY’ EP (XL RECORDINGS) Over the course of 2014, fast-emerging singer, songwriter and producer Holly ‘Låpsley’ Fletcher has become one of the most hotly-tipped new UK artists around. Through beautifully crafted songs such as ‘Station’ and ‘Painter (Valentine)’, the eighteen year old, Southport-raised artist has created a unique sonic identity, mixing sparse, minimal electronic production with gorgeous, emotive songwriting. Following a recently announced deal with XL Recordings and a nomination for the BBC’s Sound Of 2015, Låpsley has today premiered the stunning Noel Paul-directed video to her new single Falling Short. Falling Short is the lead track from her debut Understudy EP, which will be released on 5th January 2015.
