Today, Florida based band Magnolia Park has dropped an infectious new single and music video titled   ‘I should’ve listened to my friends.’ It was co-written & produced by Nick Long (MGK, Iann Dior, Sueco) & Andy Seltzer (Lil Huddy) for a collaboration that highlights the band’s many genre-fluid influences. Lyrically, the pop-punk anthem ruminates on a past fling with regret, dodging the red flags and warnings from loved ones before realizing too late that they were right all along. Guitarist/songwriter Tristan Torres sums it up by saying: “Toxic relationships hurt the most, but nothing hurts more than losing all your friends because of them.”

Magnolia Park is lead vocalist Joshua Roberts, guitarists Tristan Torres and FreddieCriales, bassist Jared Kay, drummer Joe Horsham, and keyboardist Vincent Ernst.

Rooted in pop-punk sensibilities while staying true to their unique styles, Magnolia Park incorporates elements of hip-hop, emo and alternative pop into their eclectic mix of sounds. Since the release of their Heart Eater EP, the band has found themselves favoring production bursting with alluring synths and Tik-Tok dance-worthy trap beats, layered over the guitar riffs and sing-a-long melodies that have propelled them into an on going upward trajectory.

Lyrically, they explore the dark realities of life while adding an optimistic spin and uplifting hooks to offset those less-than ideal situations.
