//

Friendly Fires have been busily working away at album number two,  a big job seeing that it has to follow their much-loved self titled debut. Man! it was so good. NZ radio – you guys missed out on this last time but we’ll not stop til you listen this time – so be warned!!

The trio have revealed their second album titled Pala, was named after a Aldous Huxley novel and was partly written in a remote cottage in the northern part of France.

Front man Ed Macfarlane has also revealed that the album will also boast producer Paul Epworth and Holy Ghosts’ Alex Frankel as some of its contributors.

We can’t wait! In fact no, we really can’t… come Saturday we’re on a plane to Melbourne to see Friendly Fires play Good Vibrations!! Woooohooooo…. I’d like to say I’m not skiting but I suspect that will sound pretty B.S.; but let’s agree with “highly chuffed!”
Maybe they’ll sing me this… ha ha!
