PicaPica are pleased to announce their debut album Together & Apart, released on June 7th, 2019 through Rough Trade Records via Rhythmethod. The album will be available on CD / LP / DL.
Together & Apart was recorded at the end of 2018 and is produced by Mobo / Mercury Nominated Producer Sonny Johns who also plays bass on the record.
Together & Apart is about health and heartache, spring and shade, love and loss and life, PicaPica are able to balance life’s joys and sorrows beautifully, effortlessly, and in continuous harmony, viewing life’s coloured photographs as imagined through their silvery negatives. All of this is captured in the fearless single ‘Sucker Punch‘. Listen below!
PicaPica is made up of Josienne Clarke (vocals), Samantha Whates (vocals), Adam Beattie (guitar / keyboards), and Sonny Johns (bass).
PicaPica recently shared a video for ‘Cast In Stone‘ a standout from Together & Apart. ‘Cast in Stone‘ is a song of two halves, it playfully marks the emotionally turbulent waxing and waning of love, of both its bonds and disaffection. Watch the official video below.
