S. Carey shares two Found Sounds Live sessions

Earlier this year, S. Carey released a drop-dead gorgeous album called Hundred Acres, a tender meditation on family and the natural world. He’s been spreading its beauty far and wide, including a recent stop for a Found Sounds session. Paring down album standouts ‘Fool’s Gold‘ and ‘Have You Stopped To Notice‘ down to a single acoustic strum, Carey’s voice and the weight of his poetry take center stage. And coming on the heels of grim ecological findings from our best scientific minds, “Have You Stopped To Notice” is particularly crushing — but also a wee light in the dark.
