Søren Juul premieres his video for ‘Pushing Me Away’ today. The heart-rending track is matched by an intimate video filled with cinematic landscapes projected onto Juul and his piano.
‘Pushing Me Away’ is off Juul’s forthcoming album This Moment, out June 17th on 4AD. This is Juul’s first album under his own name, having previously recorded under the moniker Indians. It’s a deeply personal account of Juul’s life over a tumultuous three-year period.
As Indians, Juul scored the stunning song ‘Oblivion’ for the major motion picture The Fault In Our Stars, composed works for the Copenhagen Philharmonic and was nominated in 4 categories for the prestigious Danish music awards, Gaffa Prisen. Juul has toured the world with Julia Holter, Beirut and Perfume Genius.
