Howler have released a video for their new single ‘Back of Your Neck’ (directed by Robert Semmer). In it the boys take us on a tour of the backstreets, house parties, gigs and supermarkets of their hometown Minneapolis – in all its grainy, Super 8 glory. The video premiered on Rolling Stone yesterday, whom singer Jordan Gatesmith told: “We made this video with our good friend Rob. He got us drunk, held us in his arms and told us it would be alright. And it was… It was.” Howler will release their debut album America Give Up on 15 January 2012 via Rough Trade/Rhythmethod. Download ‘Back Of Your Neck’ here.

Mark Lanegan Band will release Blues Funeral on February 6th 2012 via 4AD/Rhythmethod. This will be Lanegan’s first album since 2004?s Bubblegum. It was recorded in Hollywood, California with Alain Johannes and features guest appearances from the likes of Josh Homme, Greg Dulli and Jack Irons.
