Princess Nokia, aka Destiny Frasqueri, has released an 8 minute double-feature for two tracks from her new album 1992 Deluxe. “Bart Simpson / Green Line” was directed by Milah Libin, Destiny’s friend and frequent collaborator. The 8 minute video shows New York City through a young Destiny’s eyes–the rejection and struggles of high school, the innocent debauchery of a neighborhood party, the isolation and contemplation of solo travel on public transportation, and the depth of the friendships we forge in our youth. Princess Nokia releases deluxe version of ‘1992’ and new song ‘FLAVA’

Harlem-based rapper Princess Nokia (Destiny Frasqueri) has released her 1992 Deluxe album via Rough Trade Records / Rhythmethod. This deluxe edition is an expanded version of last year’s breakout mixtape 1992, featuring eight brand new tracks (*) which have been fully remastered.
