Watch Video For ‘Koi’

Check out “Koi”, the first single from Le1f’s debut full-length Riot Boi via Terriblethis spring.

The track, which debuted over the weekend, is quintessential Le1f showcasing the New York rappers venomous retort within the future-facing producer SOPHIE collaboration.

The video directed by Kiwi Simon Ward during Le1f’s last  Australian tour. The connection came via the powers of  twitter. Simon has made numerous videos for Princess Chelsea, Liam Finn, Lawrence Arabia and more.

Simon spoke of the collaboration, “I’ve been a big fan of Le1f for a while so it was pretty daunting and exciting going into it.  And then hearing that SOPHIE had produced the track, just about bowled me over … again, I’m a big fan.  The crew were so amazing and we had a enough time to make the effects really great and create something really special.”

The video is yet another visual standout within the trophy case of past Le1f videos that include ‘WUT‘, Boom, Sup and many more. Stay tuned for more album info coming soon!
