Today, Algiers are making a deluxe edition of their new album, ‘SHOOK,’ available digitally. The expanded album features six additional tracks–b-sides, alternate versions, and live cuts recorded with an expanded line up at December’s one-off  “SHOOK WORLD” concert in NYC.

Released in February, ‘SHOOK’ was championed by critics. “Throughout the album, Algiers lashes out at injustice, exults in its sonic mastery and insists on the life forces of solidarity and physical impact,” wrote the New York Times. “‘Shook’ is an era-defining post-punk masterpiece,” wrote Afro Punk.  “The world got shook.” So Algiers formed a crew. The band—who have built one of the most exciting catalogs and cult followings of recent years gathered a posse of like-minded artists to create their fourth album, SHOOK.
