Today, Big Thief have shared a captivating new single, ‘Born For Loving You’.
Recorded and produced by Dom Monks at Guissona, Spain’s Teatre de cal Eril Studio on a recent tour, ‘Born For Loving You’ finds Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, James Krivchenia and Max Oleartchik at their most earnest and unashamedly romantic – “I was born for loving you / Just something I was made to do”
It follows the release of live fan favourite and viral anthem, ‘Vampire Empire’, which the band debuted live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this year. Both songs will be released on a single 7” vinyl on 20 October. To pre-order head here.
‘Born For Loving You’ and ‘Vampire Empire’ is the latest new music from Big Thief since last year’s Grammy-nominated 20-track double album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You. Eternally prolific, the band’s guitarist Buck Meek has just released his third solo album (Haunted Mountain, out now).
