“Unfathomably cool.” NME
“A dazzling patchwork of melodies.” Q
Hailing from Castlemaine, a small township deep inside the Victoria bush, D.D. Dumbo’s reverb-soaked songs erupt in thunderous rhythm and euphoric drone. Minimal in structure and complemented by Perry’s astonishing voice, they subtly reference traditional stylings from around the globe such as African desert blues, Tanzanian ilimba and transcendental Tuvan melody.
