Following singles ‘Sad Cowboy’, ‘The Crack’ & ‘Badibaba’, South London quartet Goat Girl are delighted to share their anticipated second album On All Fours, out today via Rough Trade Records / Remote Control Records.
To celebrate it’s release, Goat Girl will host a live album listening party and Q&A with fans on their YouTube channel on Saturday 30 January from 8AM NZ TIME – tune in here.
On All Fours sees the band veer away from the confrontational lyricism of their breakthrough self-titled debut & indicates Goat Girl’s maturing perspectives in discussing the world’s injustices and social prejudices, using the music to explore global, humanitarian, environmental and mindful wellbeing.
Thoughout On All Fours, Goat Girl’s frequent use of sci-fi synthesisers, off-beat chord progressions, analogue drum machines, diverse vocal styles and distinct, gritty guitars fuse a musical language that expresses both former characteristics and newer developments of the band’s sound and vision.
It was produced by Dan Carey (Kae Tempest, black midi, Franz Ferdinand) in South London in late 2019 and is now available on black double vinyl, transparent pink double vinyl & CD.
Goat Girl are Lottie Cream, Rosy Bones, Holly Hole and L.E.D.
