More on Master Peace …
Growing up in Surrey, Master Peace – real name Peace Okezie – fell deep into the world of indie music, where Bloc Party, The 1975 and Arctic Monkeys quickly became his heroes. Peace spent his teen years at house parties and raves, forming a close circle of fellow ravers whose friendship continues to inspire and inform his music to this day. To Peace, the strength and depth of this platonic love between friends is the core pillar of positive modern masculinity in 2023. To date, Master Peace has released three EPs, and received praise from the likes of NME, Clash, The Face, Wonderland, and been championed by multiple DJs at BBCR1 including Clara Amfo, Vick & Jordan, and Jack Saunders.
