The Horrors eagerly anticipated new album Skying is out this week via XL Recordings / Rhythmethod. The CD is in stores as of today and LP’s are winging their way in from the UK as I type – they’ll be in stores by the weekend. WORTH THE WAIT? YES I THINK SO!!
Skying was self-produced and recorded in The Horrors’ own self-built studio in London’s Dalston, and was mixed by Grammy Award winner Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Portishead). It features ten brand new tracks and includes current single ‘Still Life’. Skying is the band’s third long player, and follows 2009’s Mercury Prize nominated Primary Colours and their 2007 debut Strange House.
