Off the back of their sold-out headline show at Alexandra Palace, Overmono release new single ‘Paradise Runner’, a track born on the road. After headlining and curating a landmark night at Manchester’s Warehouse Project, brothers Tom and Ed Russell climbed aboard their tour bus, set up a makeshift studio on the top deck, and finished the track as the sun rose. Built around a striking sample from Monifah’s ‘All I Want’, the vocals’ raw emotion became the beating heart of the song, perfectly capturing the lingering rush and energy of the night. Two years on from their critically acclaimed debut album Good Lies, ‘Paradise Runner’ channels the momentum of constant touring while marking a bold new chapter for Overmono. Debuted on Radio 1 as Danny Howard’s Hottest Record, ‘Paradise Runner’ is now released globally via XL Recordings.
