The epic video for ‘begin again’ has just been posted online exclusively via Apple Music. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Young Replicant, the video is an eerie, ritualistic narrative exploring the song’s themes of renewal and rebirth. It is gorgeously shot, ancient and unsettling, which compliments the cosmic lyricism of the song.

Young Replicant described the inspiration behind the video: “The band and I wanted to tell a story that mixed science fiction with a period setting, something that fit in the Purity Ring universe. I wrote a narrative that combined 16th century nuns, genetic engineering, and Hieronymus Bosch – a few of my favorite subjects. Megan and Corin are brave and open-minded artists and it was very humbling to have had so much freedom and support to make something like this with them.”

Additionally, Purity Ring performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live on US TV, where they played both ‘bodyache’ and new single ‘begin again‘.
Purity Ring kick off a 19-date European tour on 27th October, which includes a performance at The Roundhouse in London, and will return to Los Angeles to headline the Shrine on 5th December. In the New Year, the band head to Asia and Australasia for Laneway Festival with performances in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand (February 1st 2016)
