With touring plans curtailed in 2021, Reb Fountain welcomes the opportunity to bring IRIS to life with her band in 2022.
Reb shares, “After releasing IRIS in October 2021 we were all set to tour the album and like so many of our musical peers, plans got curtailed then cancelled. I’m so excited to share with you that we’re bringing IRIS on the road – for real, it’s happening, let’s go. Dave, Karin, Earl and I can’t wait to play for you, to do the work we love and to share our record, finally! These shows have been a long time coming and we’re all grateful for your patience and perseverance, we promise to bring you’ve everything we’ve got – see you real soon xxx reb”
Reb will be joined on the IRIS tour* by Tamaki Makaurau Neo-Folk Artist Jazmine Mary (*All shows except Auckland’s Elemental Nights).

Reb Fountain has returned with a brand new music video, ‘Fisherman’, taken from her critically acclaimed 2021 album IRIS. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s screen tests, Reb Fountain’s ‘Fisherman’ is directed by Lola Fountain-Best and shot on super 8 film at Reb’s home. Thanks to Creative New Zealand and Made with the support of NZ on Air
Says Reb of the video, “The audition tape offers an odd glimpse of ‘self’; an eerie disquiet where it’s unclear whether seeing really is believing. We love working with super 8 and conceptually the ‘screen test’ gave us a chance to explore the many voices in Fisherman.”
