The Dublin five-piece have announced their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, out 16 October via XL Recordings.

Across the album, Fontaines D.C. move between gratification and dread until the two meld together, reflecting a world where artificial intelligence, environmental collapse and political violence exist alongside memes, jokes and celebrity culture. “The album itself is a dopamine chamber,” says Grian Chatten. “You step inside and we test these different mind- or mood-altering pieces of music on you.”
