With the news that the mighty Head Like A Hole are unable to perform with the D4 on their summer tour of Aotearoa due to personal reasons an urgent call went out to find a band worthy of filling the sonic void left by the departure of the stenchiest band in rock.

With over a decade in the game, Villainy are one of New Zealand’s most beloved and successful rock bands and they show no signs of slowing down.
Bursting onto the scene in 2012 with their debut album Mode. Set. Clear. they have released three albums – 2015’s Dead Sight and 2019’s Raised in the Dark. All three records have won gongs at the Aotearoa Music Awards and produced numerous hit singles. With a new era hovering on the horizon they have continued to dominate the airwaves with singles ‘The Launch’ and their latest offering ‘Miles Away’.
Stalwarts of the live scene, the band have completed numerous sold out tours and supported heavyweight acts like AC/DC, Incubus, The Offspring, Billy Talent and Papa Roach.
