“Like most creativity, the concept for this video came out of the ‘ether’. The villainess false protagonist spurred thoughts and images from the silent film era. The lyrics were inspired from the last NZ election result which was very disappointing from two perspectives. There is a dual narrative – Dastardly instruction from a lying leader to the apathetic masses.
