Following the critical success of their second album Pala, Friendly Fires unleash brand new single ‘Hawaiian Air’. Produced by Friendly Fires and recorded in the band’s own St Albans studio, ‘Hawaiian Air’ is an undeniable album highlight and follows on from the brilliant first single‘Live Those Days Tonight’.Says frontman Ed Macfarlane: “It’s about enduring a horrific flight to Hawaii. The verses are all about bad food, shit films, uncomfortable seats, and turbulence. The chorus is about smashing down on the ground and being free from the turmoil you have endured in the air. You walk off the plane and breath in the Hawaiian Air and the painful journey has been worth it.”
Lucky little diggers across the ditch have a July tour confirmed… still we can always fly over.. just hopefully not on THIS flight!
