‘TT/LOVE’ comes as the result of experimentation’s over the last two years, during which time he has embarked on both heavyweight artistic commissions (see ‘Hello Terry Riley’ at The Barbican) as well as credible club shows and a Caribou support tour cementing him as a highly respected contemporary artist with an ambitiously unique voice.
One recently completed commission is ‘The Well’ which originally debuted in Manchester for Future Everything and the British Council, before being extended to Moscow and finally Sonar festival. It saw Koreless collaborate with visual artist Emmanuel Biard and comprised of a giant laser mirror being manipulated in time to the music. Though hard to comprehend on paper, the results were utterly stunning, so much so that the website Nowness commissioned a short film about the project. Watch it here.
