As announced on their website Feb 2nd – Jack and Meg are closing their chapter as The White Stripes. They tell us not to feel sad.. but I do anyway…
And I totally get it at the same time. Last impressions are the lasting ones, so yes move away quietly while its still all gorgeous and special…

Well…. they’ll always have a special place in our hearts as NZ welcomed them with open arms and gave them a big hug as one of their first overseas touring countries. (Thank you John Baker!). They’ve put into the world some amazing music, art, ideas and memories – (St.James show Auckland – top 5 gigs OF ALL TIME!).. and for that, we thank you Jack and Meg!
